The Holy Resurrection Mission community has been blessed with another seminarian!

Reader Thomas Coon is currently attending St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary. He has been a member of Holy Resurrection Mission since 2016 and has served as mission council Warden, Reader, a catechumen teacher, choir director and choir singer. He plans to finish seminary and serve the Church by teaching Biblical Greek and translating Greek and Latin hagiographic, liturgical and theological texts, which have not yet been published in English (St. Maximus the Confessor, Patrologia Graeca, etc.).

Thomas also received a blessing to be the Teaching Assistant to the current St. Tikhon's Greek professor. He is expected to graduate in May 2025 and is very grateful for all the prayers and support of our parish.
