Holy Resurrection Orthodox Mission is a mission-parish of the autocephalous (self-ruled) Orthodox Church in America (OCA). Our mission was originally established in Aiken, South Carolina as a missionary outreach of Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Columbia, South Carolina. We relocated to Augusta, Georgia in August 2010 and relocated again to North Augusta, South Carolina in May 2013. We are a growing and dynamic community of Orthodox faithful living the ancient witness of the Church today.

As you can see from our name, our focus is missionary work. We welcome new people into the Church and help them to grow in knowledge and strength in the Gospel so that they can help to continue our missionary efforts with their family and friends.

Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life, and even different countries and cultures. We would love to see you, no matter where you are from or what your background may be. And don't worry if you're new to Orthodoxy; a significant percentage of our parish is made up of people who came to the Orthodox Church from other Christian confessions. You're sure to find someone with similar experiences to yours, and we welcome all visitors with open arms. Be sure to stay after Sunday worship services for the fellowship meal so you can get to know us.
